Architectural studio
Oficina de Arquitectura is an architectural studio based in the Algarve. For us, ‘oficina’ (workshop) is a place for manual work; a place for repairing buildings which are or have become dysfunctional; a place where solutions are tested to solve problems in our built environments.
Our mission is to create inspiring spaces for our clients to live in!
Spaces that place our clients’ aspirations at the centre of each project.
Without architecture, our lives are less inspiring and motivating. It is a pleasure to stay in the spaces where we live, where we work. Without realising, we want to enter them sooner and leave them later, we want to stay and enjoy them. At Oficina de Arquitectura, we believe that when the importance of the spatial environment in our physical and psychological well-being is neglected, this has repercussions on our ability to function on a daily basis.
In our architectural work, we aim to build spaces having in mind the people occupying them. We aim to inspire our clients to live better!

Engineering projects
Production of all engineering projects required to obtain consent for a planning application.
Quantity and cost surveys
Building schedules, cost estimation and specifications.
3D Visualisation
3D physical models; CGIs; Drawings.
Construction
Kitchen and bathroom renovations, building extensions, refurbishments, new build, retail, offices, residential.
Construction site supervision
Site management and coordination to ensure quality control and project compliance, within agreed timeframes and cost. Also includes health and safety and environmental supervision.
Estate agents
Architectural consultancy and support for buying and selling property.

Technical assistance on site

Clarification of documents and response to requests for information (RFIs);
Submission of additional information;
Analysis of technical documents provided by suppliers and contractors.
