Joana Ginjeira Nascimento was born in Lisbon in 1980 and graduated in Architecture from IST (Instituto Superior Técnico) in 2004, having studied during 2002 at TU/e (Tecnhishe Universiteit/Eindhoven) in the Netherlands.

She did her internship at Ressano Garcia, Arquitectos, in Lisbon, where she worked until 2008, when she began to collaborate with other professionals in the fields of Architecture, Furniture and Construction, gaining experience in the various stages of design, monitoring and supervision of works.

In 2014 she wins a Research grant from IST to join the multidisciplinary team studying the fabrication of a modular housing prototype in composite material, concluding in 2015 his master’s degree on the topic Transitional Architecture.

In 2017, and after 2 years of experience in the real estate market, which includes the preparation and management of spaces for Local Lodging and providing Real Estate Consulting and Mediation services, she founded Oficina de Arquitectura, a studio entirely focused on supporting the client to optimize their space, through a careful and personalized design that puts the interests of its client at the center of all decisions of the project and work.

Ana Botelho was born in the Alentejo region in 1980 and graduated in Architecture from IST (Instituto Superior Técnico) in 2004.

Over the last decade, in the UK, she has had the opportunity to work with recognised and acclaimed teams such as Piercy & Company, Hawkins Brown and Darling Associates. With these studios she has worked on various projects, led teams and accumulated a wealth of experience from the initial design stages through to completion.

Ana has successfully completed projects for public buildings such as the Student Centre for UCLan University, several large-scale residential schemes, luxury homes in central London, office buildings and hotels.

In Portugal, she gained experience in single-family housing and retail. Among others, she was part of the design team in Bom Sucesso development in Óbidos and a sports pavilion in Madeira.

She currently splits her time between Portugal and the UK, and collaborates on various projects with Oficina de Arquitectura.
