Description: The project to refurbde an old cafeteria in the center of Lisbon arose from the need for new tenants to adapt an old-fashioned space to its commercial concept, both aesthetically and functionally.

Customers already had a number of visual references. They knew what they wanted. They were looking for a clean aesthetic, simple, but very welcoming for their customers to feel at home. They needed to provide a good area of cup, storage and preparation of food that they always wanted fresh and ready to leave.

The interior refurbishment provided for the demolition of much of the interior of the commercial space, as well as the removal of all fixed furniture and existing equipment. The water, sanitation and electricity networks were redone and all lighting was rethought for the renovated space. A new screed floor was made on the existing one and new coatings were made on the walls and ceilings. In the end a new kitchen and counter area was set up.
